Οnline presentation of the book of the distinguished Lebanese author Hoda Barakat
In the framework of the new events of the period (2021-2022), the Center of Greek and Arabic Literature and Culture in collaboration with Kedros Publications invites you on Friday 17/9at 12.30 (Greek time)to an online presentation of the book of the distinguished Lebanese author HodaBarakat, titled “Night Mail” which won the grand prize of the Arabic Novel 2019, while it was on the shortlist for Man Booker International of the same year.
The central theme of the book is the long-suffering city of Beirut, during the period of the catastrophic civil war.
Hoda Barakat will converse with the translator of the book and Director of K.El.A.L.P. Ms. Persa Koumoutsi.
The meeting will be held in Greek and Arabic.
