CulturePolis is a Civil Society Organization (CSO) based in the island of Corfu, Greece. Since 2006 its activities mainly focus on:

  1. The promotion of intercultural dialogue as a driver for social cohesion and inclusion with a special focus on building strong relationships among different cultures with emphasis on the Greek and the Arab world. This initiative is powered by its specialized structure created in 2020 entitled the Centre of Greek and Arabic Literature and Culture – K.EL.A.L.P.;
  2. The promotion of cultural tourism and its relations to heritage in local and regional level; supporting tourism and cultural professionals in their actions towards more sustainable and resilient market choices;
  3. Capacity building for the Cultural and Creative sector, supporting CCI professionals in their entrepreneurial, marketing and digital upskilling.

CulturePolis achieves these ambitious goals mainly through funds from national, European, and international competitive programs, always considering citizens and stakeholders’ involvement as an essential pillar for successful initiatives. It mainly operates in Europe, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean Basin and participates in international networks.
